1967 Ferrari 330 P4 Le Mans Parkes/Scarfiotti
Not enough to read on F1M during holidays?
Let's talk about this. I added clear gloss to this one.
I know cars of this era didn't have that much shine.
A friend of me told me to polish this one now with Tamiya red cap, so before decalling
I thought it might be wise to first add decals, then clear gloss and then polish it.
There is a risk of melting the decals. I have had this before with Fujimi decals and Zero Paints clear.
I also want to try to add some racing dust.
Any suggestions?

That has got to be one of the most beautiful cars of all time. The curves just flow so well. I've got the fujimi kit of this car to build someday. Look forward to seeing yours finished Kars.

Agree.
I wish i had bought the 1/12 MFH kit.
I would trade my 1/12 MFH 312F1 and SF70H for that one....

Nice one Kars...
I've always believed that you should never, ever give up and you should always keep fighting, even when there's only a slightest chance.

Nice Build Kars!
Quick question, you say fujimi decals have had issues with zero paints clear. Do you use the 2k clear or the lacquer?

So i am very reluctant to spray clear gloss over decals....

Looks like a great start - very smooth paint application! Clear coating always scares me as well - possibly my least favorite thing of any build...

Beautiful car and I agree it is among the most beautiful race cars ever built. I wonder though, why the
LM car? I'd rather have one of the three Daytona cars (#24) coupe, imo more iconic. But I'll be following
this. Paint seems to be on point!

Hi Kars,
Good to see you back at the bench. I wouldn't clear coat the P4 either, just polish the bodywork then seal in the decals by brushing Klear on them.

Kars, and what about the quite mild Tamiya X22?
And yes, for me it's a non polish subject.
Even more if you plan to apply dust or dirt.
Oh and yes, it's DA CAR!!! The equivalent to F1's Lotus 79. The one to make everyone agree...
