Thanks Stubeck!

I'm not 100% happy with how the "Shell" settled down on the left side. Yes, I know that it will look different after the clear goes over it, but I will probably replace it anyway.

Continuing the decal process.

Nothing special here guys. Just a box stock build. I should have it cleared by Wednesday.

Nice! Looking sharp! I guess you'll be clearing the front and rear wings fully assembled?

Yes, then I'll go back and tape off the areas that need to be matte.

How did you find the decals? personally I think they are some of the worst I have come across, am decaling an Ebbro MP4-31 at the same time and the difference between the 2 decals is night and day.

How much did you have to prise open the engine cover to get the gear box to fit?

Cheers

They're not bad, I've dealt with way worse decals

Barely at all, it all slides together. it is a tight fit though.

Got all of the decals on the body. I have a couple remaining to put on the front wing. I still need to decal the tires and wheels. I should have this in clear later tonight, or by tomorrow morning.

The paint you used from Gravity seems to match the decals well.

I am working on this kit too and the decals match well to either TS-49 or TS-86. I'm thinking of going with TS-86 "Brilliant red" as it is slightly more red/less orange than TS-49.

Are you familiar with TS-86 and do you think the Gravity color is in the ballpark of TS-86?

Or does TS-86 seem wrong for this car? Thanks.

A couple of people have said that the TS-49 is not really the right color for this car. I have TS-86, but I have not sprayed it to see what it looks like.
