i have not done a WIP in a while...they always seem to languish..

This one should go fairly quickly.

I see you have a can of pink Tamiya primer. Is it available in the U.S. now? My LHS told me no, but that was about 6 months ago.

This can was sent to me by a good friend. I have had a couple friends tell me that they have ordered it from their hobby shops. Maybe Chris at Upscale Hobbies could hook you up.

Hobby Town in Houston has the pink and dark red primer in stock with the usual gray and white

Primed with white first. I let it dry, and cut it back with some 4,000 micromesh.

I assembled the engine cover, and side pod wings(not in the photos)

Will be following.

I have been sitting on the fence about buying it.

To buy or not to buy, that is the question.

Given the halo, not sure future releases of the current F1 cars will be as appealing.
