Where did you find the parts list/pictures on the MFH website?

HELL YEAH! sorry for all caps. Had to be said though. And another thread I will be watching for suredaves wrote:Some quick initial observations on the kit.
The quality of the resin is exceptional. It is as good or better than Tamiya plastic.
The white metal is very smooth with very few flaws.
The body is finally made entirely out of resin. No metal doors or fill in parts.

Re: 1/12th MFH 917/30

Re: 1/12th MFH 917/30
It is their typical resin
It does not smell like a lot of companies resin
It is the same resin used on all their recent kits

Re: 1/12th MFH 917/30
Subscribed! I’m all in on this.
I like the parts list idea, but it’s not consistent across all the MFH 1/12th series is it? And sorting into steps is a great idea, looking for these from my “ Completion Time” question. Thanks

No, they didn't start adding the parts illustrations until about the time they released the 250 TR and 412P kits. It's a great help and time saver, especially with the sports cars. I print mine out on 11 X 17 paper, which enlarges them a bit and makes the illustrations just about 1 : 1 with the actual parts. Not only can you inventory the contents quickly, you can see shortages and/or parts that should not be there. I've had about a 70% success rate with their 1/12 kits, where there were no shortages or extra "mystery" parts. For the investment, it's well worth doing.

This looks a very helpful system you have there Dave I think I might try this on my next build the 1/12 Williams FW11 thanks for sharing.
I normally paint or prime all the body parts first then start the long clean up with the Dremel!
It normally takes me a couple of days to clean the white metal parts.
Cheers

This is very helpful, as they show all of the parts with their item number. If any are missing, which is rare, I can easily order the part.
Next I bag the parts and number each bag referencing the step number in the instructions. Then I begin polishing the white metal parts in my jewelry pin polisher. I also soak the resin parts in water and a denture cleaner tablet. Non toxic and works great to remove the resin release. Getting excited about building this one.

Re: Daves's 1/12th MFH 917/30 update 4/20
Got a lot done on the 917/30 this week. Engine and rear chassis frame. Very detailed and a lot of fun. Most every thing fits so far.
