Got gearbox and rear suspension assembled.
Being unable to find fresh set of decals, I bought full view kit on an auction. Going to use it's dark blue decals.
But I don't need a kit itself. If anyone interested in buying it cheap with replacement decals from Indycals, send me PM.

I has been a while since I've touched this build. Different summer activities getting in the way. Finally returned to it and finished
decals application work. It's been quite a frustrating experience working with decals of this kit. Micro-Set and -Sol did not work
well on them. Solvaset worked, but only to melt them in place. Anyway, I was able to get them on, but paint touch ups or patching
is still required in number of places. Below is a photo of what I got. It's a some kind of mix of US GP and Monaco livery. Not 100%
accurate, but I am fine with that. After touch ups I will be attaching PE fasteners and then applying clear coat. And then will have
to do some masking and paint aluminium on chassis parts. As soon as that all is done, I should be able to start final assembly steps.

Primed, painted and installed my 3D printed spark plug boots. I think end result looks quite a bit better compare to big left open holes Tamiya have
in engine covers. Those plug boots might not be very visible on finished model, but I like adding such details.
Just a reminder that boots could be ordered from my Shapeways store here - https://www.shapeways.com/shops/lezdep-s-modeling-shop

Re: WIP: Brabham BT46 US GP 1978 Niki Lauda
Returned to my BT46 build last weekend. Made good progress on adding hoses and A/N fittings. Done all required assembly steps before
I could marry engine and monocoque. Finally got them together last night. I progressed as far as I could before I need to do more detail
work on seat and dashboard.
Few quick shots below.
PS: I still struggle to do work as cleanly as many of you do here. Hopefully my skills will improve over time.

Re: WIP: Brabham BT46 US GP 1978 Niki Lauda
Keep'em coming. The rivets look great, work most excellent and I use them oft. Looking forward to more. Make no doubt, your work is most wonderful, you have done a great job and put forth a effort to build as best as you are able, that my friend is the reward of this hobby. Compairing one's work to others has killed many a budding builder. You keep doing just what you are, looks great too me.
