Hell Of A Ligier JS11
Re: Hell Of A Ligier JS11
Seat & belts are very realistic. Yes the Indycals decals are fragiles I've already used some for a Matra MS11 Tamiya but they are much more accurate and the Heller decals are usually in bad condition (yellowed).

Re: Hell Of A Ligier JS11
if you're looking for js11 decals, i can recommend mine
As far as i know, most complete (also has ickx decals, helmet decals for ickx, lafitte, depailler) & accurate (check the nr6 shape, check the laurels, check jet sponsor decal etc) set on the market.
Silk screen printed.

Bestbalsakits,
Your Ligier decals looks fantastic. Too late for me though.
Do you have a set for my drawer queen Alfa 179?
That V12 beast is calling for an overhaul.
Cheers
Lee

Re: Hell Of A Ligier JS11
Hi,
This will be my last post for 2017 as I'll be going for a short Safari tomorrow & this Ligier will not make it as my 2017 completed kit.
Let the pictures tell the story.
Wish all the F1M members a Happy & Fantastic 2018 & most important, HAPPY MODELLING.
Cheers
Lee

Re: Hell Of A Ligier JS11
Hi,
This is a quick update on my Hell er.
I think this is as far as I can go to busy up the engine compartment. Added the non existent pipes to the radiators on either side of the engine, the anti roll bar (not realistically connected & still unpainted), an extinguisher & some plumbing. Detailing the brake discs is abandoned as can be seen from the holes on the left disc.
The dash is also busied up with some buttons & switches & the steering wheel detailed.
The final bit will be the wiring at the front end & touch up. Hopefully can then park it in the Completed Section.

Very good job but are you sure about the MOMO inscription on the steering wheel ?

Re: Hell Of A Ligier JS11
Here's a bit of progress pics. Decided that I cannot live with the short aerofoil under tray & will have to extend it accordingly. Therefore the journey to the finishing line will be delayed.
BTW, Oliver, there are photos showing "Momo", "Sparco" & "Personal" branded steering wheels. Accurate or not, I've gone with "Momo' simply because I've got the "Momo" decals.
