Re: MFH 1/12 Alfa Romeo 158
Oh, what a cruel mistake! You are right! I confound decal numbers and color in the MFH manual and choose the wrong color. I didn't use the decals, but brushed the green. So I will have to sand the green and replace it by blue.
Hope it will work. Thank you very much for the correction. I didn't find any color photos of the Farina car so I relied upon the manual but made that cruel mistake. Thank you for you post.

I was sure that you would be very dissapointed and had serious doubts before to post the picture. You know, some times is better to live in the ignorance but finally I decided that a modeller with your skills will solve the problem in a brilliant way. Here is another picture where you can see the whole nose. Please note that the lower part is still red. I haven't any other picture in colourferrarissimus wrote:Oh, what a cruel mistake! Your Alfa Romeo is AWESOME!!!!! I really enjoyed your WIP, and the results are truly stunning, regardless of the nose color . Fantastic work, you should be rightly proud. Looking forward to the Ferrari.

It lasted 2 years to correct the mistake of the green nose, discovered by Joaquin.
It is hard to touch a finished model and I had to force myself to do new paint job, although it was not a very time consuming.
Here is the result and now I am really happy.

Terrific work on this, It is a beast of a kit and a beauty when finished,
I have only seen one or two other completed models, this is the next on my bench.
Thanks for posting your pics as well....
