MFH 1/12 Alfa Romeo 158

Post by ferrarissimus »

Having finished the MFH Ferrari 312 F1 I started my next project. Thank you for all the nice comments in the WIP in this topic. I Hope someone has a benefit from my WIP, when building this model car.

Now I started the MFH 1/12 Alfa Romeo 158 from 1950 although I normally only collect Ferraris. But I love that F1 period, because the cars are looking more like a normal car.

For reference I used the Book from Ed Mc Donough: ALFETTA, The Alfa Romeo 158/159 Grand Prix car.

I started following the building instruction with the motor.

Next step is the installation of the shorter conic pipe for the 8 ignition cables and the smaller and longer one for the 2 cables to the distributers.
Those pipes are cast in white metal and I think I am not able too hollow them. So I decidid to make my own pipes.
I used the alu of a tea light about 0,2 mm thickness
