Hi very nice work
How did you cut the spokes ?
It seems you cut them after the wheel is completed; what kind of cuter did you use then ? (the spoke seems hard to cut ?)

Re: MFH 1/12 Alfa Romeo 158
Since you did such a marvelous job on the Alfa, would you have any "TIPS" on how best to build the Spoke wheels, and how to install the completed wheel into the tire (TYRE?) without damaging the wheels - as they seem like they are going to be difficult to build with-out damaging them...
Any help and pics would be greatly appreciated!
Kirk

Re: MFH 1/12 Alfa Romeo 158
Hi droeven and indygyp 2001,
my procedure of making spoke wheels is this:
1. MFH manual says you should insert the straight!!! wire into the hub.If you do so you will get a strong tension in the wire that makes it difficult to place it. Having placed the wire, I slip on the small tube at the rim. There is enough tension to fix it temporary until one line of spokes is completed. Then this line is fixed with CA glue and start the next.
2.To facilitate the wire's bend in all the same right angle and length, I made a gauge tool of solid metal, drilled a pinhole in the required angle and deepness. Hope this helps you making your spoke wheels.

Hi Ferrarissimus
Thank you very much for your answer; I feel better with your tips before beginning the built
I thought the wire were cut with a cutter, but the the cutter disk solution must be better
Hope I'll do as well as you did! your WIP is really inspiring me
Best regards
Jdroeven
