Re: McLaren MP4/6 in 1:12 (Tamiya)
All looks fantastic, especially the exhausts, superb job on them!! Personally, although it may be correct to not have the Calsonic decals on the radiators. I would have them on there, as I think they look good. Who cares if they never had them on in the races? I'm more for having the model looking how I want it, not going for 100% accuracy, just my opinion ☺

Here you go then!yaggo wrote:Better leave the Calsonic decals off, because there is no evidence that they ran with these in the races.gp-models wrote:Still looking nice, why did you use no painting templates for the radiators, the calsonic badges?
Overall looking nice, keep up your work!
I can't find a single picture in my books or pics from the net.

Not all races had calsonic logo, but 1991 Silverstone and Hockenheim did. Great build by the way.

Now i can use the Calsonic template after all. I think it looks better with the Calsonic lettering.

Hi Senninha and thank you for sharing your pics and nice work. I am building the same model but I'm stuck with the air funnel : Not satisfied with the carbon fibre decal . Any advice ? How did you make it ? Thank you !

Hello @all...
here is the latest progress on the McLaren MP 4/6. I´ve finished the rear wing, the airbox and the brakes. Especially the brakes are very cool - good work from Top Studio. But there were some problems with the carbon fibres. It was the first time i used decals from nicrolecron and shunko... and i must say these decals were not easy to manufacture, they crack very fast and its impossible to use this decals in warm water. So i used Scale Motorsport Decals on the rear wing.
But at the end, im happy with the carbonizing on the rear wing and the brakes... all is very smooth, plain and shiny... like after a wet race. So i hope u enjoy the pics.
