Thanks guys!

This is probably the last update to this WIP... There are some details I want to improve before calling it "ready" and then I'll create a new "completed projects" topic :) The clip that connects to the throttle cable is oversized (easy to fix), I'm not sure about the dirty tires (it 'll be a real pain to remove the wheels again), and both half shafts are not identically aligned (unknown pain levels -- once the wheels are off).

Worked on all the fuel hoses, electrics and wiring. Not the most fun part if you don't exactly know what you're doing... Some are properly connected, but most just disappear magically in some obscure gap around the engine

And I've been having fun by playing around a with the camera :). Really need a camera stand for the darker shots to get a better depth of field, so I'll try and borrow one when I do the final shots.

I love each and every picture, no matter if in the light or not, can`t believe that this is a model cause they look 1:1, they are kind of art! :)
Still enjoyed every update to this stunning build and will follow your completed project as well, and hopefully the next project too! ;)
Can`t wait too see it finished and to see another master build from you! :D

There were a few things I wanted to fix but it wasn't all that easy. I took the wheels of and toned down the dirty tyres a little bit, tried to reinstall the half shafts but that requires disassembling more than I want to, and the little part I intended to redo couldn't be removed without getting violent. I decided to leave it as it is.

So, after 119 multi-hour sessions spread out over 18 months, the Matra is finished!

I'll post some final pics next week, when I can borrow a camera stand.

Finally I'd like to thank you for your ongoing support, compliments, advice and even gifts. To know that there's an audience watching makes a big difference and definitely kept me going. So thank you!

Hope to see you around at a next WIP.
