The GT40's did not have ajustable seats, they had ajustable pedal boxes. Brackets for mounting to top of tub...

Hi Folks,

First off, a BIG THANK YOU to those that took the time to comment on this build. Apologies for not thanking you sooner!!!

Finally getting around to an update...

Working on making the steering wheel and column, I wanted the steering wheel to turn so the knuckle coupling had to function and I used telescoping tubing for the column. The column will just dead end in the rack. The idea being when I pose the wheels in a turned position I can also pose the steering wheel in the correct way.

Wow! really incredible work. Just wondering, should you decide to paint this model you'll have to disassemble it right? is that possible?
