Soldering isn't what amazes me. That looks like the easy part. It's cutting out all of those shapes in brass and their patterns.

Hi Harvey, Thanks ..using .010 for the main floor piece that is curved up to form the fuel cells, dropping down to .050 for the piece that supports the dash.

Hi Randy,

Great scratch building work. Your gear shifter is amazingly detail! It is a master piece on its own.
