Question: Can I buy a copy of those exhausts. They are WAY better than the parts included in the kit. Actually those kit exhausts are the worst parts in the kit.

I suspect you could sell as many of those as you wanted to print.... They look great. I'll definitely buy, if you have any for sale...

Thank you guys!
As soon as possible I'll try to install the new exhausts in the kit and check that they are ok. Then I will make them available.

Any chance you could make the assembled exhausts of Tamiya's 1/12 and 1/20 Ford Cosworths? I would buy at least 5 of each. ;)

Hello Pierluigi

Very nice outcome so far. I also like the paintjob. Brilliant color and clear coat!!!!
3D printing is also the next orientation for me to create parts. But up to now i have not done anything on the computer in designing these parts yet.
What is the software that you used to design these parts? And to confirm:
Then afterwards you just send the file to "shapeways" and got the printed part send to you a couple days later?

Best regards,
Michael

Hi Michael,
you can use any software that can save your 3d model in .stl format, there are some free software doing that, check shapeways site and you'll find (SketchUp, Autodesk 123d and others). Create an account, upload your file, order your 3d print, wait for shapeways team check your 3d model for printability and then printing, UPS delivery more or less 10 days after your order.

I hope I can get some pictures tomorrow. Exhausts are fitted to the kit :D :D :D
Cheers!

Looking good, Pierluigi! I'm glad you haven't given up on this build!

Hmm.., I wonder if Shapeways would sell us the exhausts, if Pierluigi kindly gave us permission to use his STL file there? Or maybe Shapeways already has a copyright-free file, in stock now..? As Allnie says, they are the worst part of the kit -- just fist-like clumps.
