It's no matter how you paint this red strip - by spray or by brush. Matter what thinner do you use. You should use thinner for enamel paint wich will not affect with TS paint. Original tamiya or similar. I use Tikkurila 1050.

Hello, thank you. I have just made a second attempt, it works but I got the red on the pannel on the left or right of the logo erased out too (or become fuzzy), I used a brush with thinner to wash it then use a cloth to sweep it out.

Any advice to make it better? If I use the brush only I found it almost impossible to get a clear logo

Try to use cotton swab or toothpick.

After about 20 attempts..
I finally found my way out by dry brushing it with some vallejo. The enamel thinner does the work but it also make the paint flat and too easy to erease the paints, and for me it's not easy to control.

but with dry brushing, I think air painting the red surface is a must. I painted with decanted TS49. First do the strip work, clean well, then air paint the aluminum surroundings with mask tape and mask liquid, and some brushes for tiny parts.

Thanks anyway.
