Now that could be tempting.

Well the good news is... it looks like MFH are back producing Ferrari's again.
The bad news is, taking into account recent global events, this announcement,
has caught me financially off guard and will delay a purchase by me.
Am I Sad... yes!!! but I will overcome the disappointment.

Well... note how they do not use "Ferrari" in the name of the kit whereas they did it for the 250 GTO, 312F1 ('67), 312PB, 312T2 ('77) but not on the ('76 - kit was released the year after the '77), 330 P4 / 412P, 512BB LM....
Or how they name the Porsches "P.something". Might be licensing related . In the same way that the GTA games name cars "Infernus" etc. when they clearly show a "Diablo" etc. It's been done with racing games for a long time now..

Awesome machine, and will make a terrific model. However, been done before by Tamiya. Hopefully the 1970 512S LM Coda Lunga is not far away.
However!!! I'm still waiting, like so many other's on here, for the Tyrrell 006 Mr Hiro! If he is really in the business of selling models, Sir JYS & Francois, short wheelbase, twitchy, stubby, and tamed by the the masters little Tyrrell is a no-brainer.

Re: 1/12 MFH July 2020?
Wow - didnt see that coming. A direct competitor for Tamiya's old kit.
A couple of years ago I bought the Tamiya reissue with the large photoetch fret and seatbelt material etc and it includes decals for the Regazzoni Italian GP winner as well as Ickx/Andretti options. It cost £120. Am sure the MFH kit will be far superior but I think the Tamiya one is actually pretty reasonable and the difference in cost may be £500 or so.
I wonder if MFH considered doing a 1974 312B3 as that has never been offered in 1/12 and was quite successful. Otherwise, an MFH 312T3 would might be popular as the Protar 1/12 kit of that car is almost unobtainable,very expensive - and as it happens, not very good. It also would have the Villeneuve connection.
I wish this release well but personally, I would be more likely to dig a (large) hole in my bank account for the 312B3 OR T3 (or indeed T006, FW07, BT49 etc etc)

Oeps...Suprise,suprise !Great but odd choice..this one will be far better than the old Tamiya one but would be better if they did the B2 version to replace the Protar one;

I would also like a B2. The Protar kit is really bad.Jordan2.0 wrote:Oeps...Suprise,suprise !Great but odd choice..this one will be far better than the old Tamiya one but would be better if they did the B2 version to replace the Protar one;

Re: 1/12 MFH July 2020?
Well that was not a surprise but I already have a rare CMA 1.12th super detailed kit of the 312 B in 1/12th scale. Why their picture showed center locks I have no idea. Tires and pre printed seat look nice.
Re: 1/12 MFH July 2020?
huh I know lots of folks will like it but can't help being disappointed we get a car already done in 1/12. Obviously the MFH will be better but still. Ah well, pocket book saved again for me so no worries!
