Re: 1/12 MFH July 2020?
My first thought was 512S/M as well, but dare I hope it? Maybe not. Then I thought width front to rear ratio seemed odd for a sportscar, also height vs width. So I don't know.
Cheers,

Re: 1/12 MFH July 2020?
Those look like those experimental treads used in 1970 and 1971 mainly by Firestone before going to slicks. The colors indicate Ferrari and they usually did not use the latest tread design on sportscars. So this could be a 312B or B2. Good Year also used a similar tread design in 1970 and 1971. Or maybe a Lotus 72C.

Re: 1/12 MFH July 2020?
You know, that would actually be super funny. I think twice Christian hast started a project and the next thing happening was MFH pulling the same model out of their hat? I think it happened with the 956 and the RSR...

That's true, and don't forget the Lancia Beta I build a while before MFH make their own one.
Right now I've got two others beside the 917/10.
The Ford Sierra RS500 and the McLaren F1 GTR are in the making.
Time for MFH to copy these two.

Tread looks similar? I would be stunned though if it was a March 711 (stunned, happy and hurt in the wallet....)

Re: 1/12 MFH July 2020?
A lot of nice inputs - thanks. But BE AWARE: The new model is ONLY one item # K744. Suppose we talk March 711 (a must-have) - would they really only make Ronnies car? The 711 could be made into so MANY variations. Same with 917/10 (a must-have). Again it sounds strange only to do one version. TRICKY.

No, the 72 was modified several times during 1970. That would require several different kits.
How many versions of the Lotus 49C did MFH release in 1/20?
