Well, that's my Way to build Kits. Where's my Mojo ?daveyman wrote:He hasn't done it right at all. Should have opened the box took a look thru the contents and then spent a good few year planning the build/gathering references etc and then forgot about building it because a new 'must build' kit has just been announced...

That is GREAT!! I've always wanted to see Gene Haas replace RG, but every interview I see with him - he is great and generally a real person and down to earth!!
Re: Didn't see that one coming...
Let's never say that it can't be done in a day, because RG comes, who doesn't know it can't be built and builds a model in a day.
I have to try to imitate it to build all my great cars out of my stash. I bow, Mr. Romain!

Really think its fun what he's done. Say you want about his driving, but as a person he's really great.

Who cares if the decal is upside down, or if he decided to paint or not, his two posts probably got more people into modeling than we ever did.
And even Tamiya-san replied to his posts.
maybe if he builds another one...

Just goes to show what can happen when you’re not stuck in a perfection cycle. I’m realizing after years of slow to no progress it maybe better to lower my expectations and just build and accept each step for what it is.
