Now hoping for a Tamiya 1/20 RedBull Honda
Well all with the win at Austria and Honda engines 1st win, here is hoping that Tamiya will issue a new Honda Powered Red Bull in time for Shizuoka in 2020. I doubt that RedBull would let them release a kit earlier but it is a nice looking car. Great win and great excuse for a new kit. I think they could feel confident this would do well in Europe and Asia so it kind of seems like a no brainer.

It's a shame the ebbro 2019 Toro Rosso turned out to be a mith. A 2019 Red Bull from Tamiya would be excellent.

I think the biggest thing will be how well the SF70 and the TS050 sold in their first six to eight weeks. If they made a profit quickly, its much more likely to have them build a new kit.

Don't be to sure about it.
I also expected Tamiya to release a Honda RA106 when Jenson won the Hungarian Grand Prix 2006, but sadly they didn't made it.

I doubt they will do this kit. Lisence from RedBull will not be easy to get, and they just released a F1car so perhaps they will wait for another couple of years. I guess DTM will do this kit though.

SF70H already removed from catalogue - along with all ferraris.
Tamiya San on the company blog talking about steadily declining sales.
Teams pushing up license fees as though the sport is popular.

I don't know if red bull license is so hard to get it. Belkits and Revell had released several kit with Red Bull decal. I think it's more a problem of "know how". And of course of royalties.
I'd better bet on Ebbro which is a true Honda Fan. A the STR14 prototype seen on Ebbro's stand at '19 Shizuoka show that he's thinking about it.

Yeah, a curbside does Tamiya now justice. It might be a nice build up but it is really spartan.43rdMichael wrote:SF70H already removed from catalogue - along with all ferraris.
