...I don't know about you guys, but I'd have a "clean room" built into my home so that I could paint *anything* without *ever* worrying about dust anymore!!!!!!
(Just venting some frustration...)

Buy a really big mansion besides a beautiful lake away from city should solve this problem automatically.....

A million Bucks out here is SoCal wouldn't be much of an improvement
I might get a two car garage to work in instead of the one car that is currently my workshop. I just wouldn't have a mortgage to worry about!

No kidding! As a fun exercise at work (I work in IT) we looked at why Palo Alto firewalls were so expensive. We did a Zillow search on the same zipcode. All the houses were a million dollars and were literally the SAME design/layout/size as my previous house (both Cape Cods.) I bought my house for $85k in upstate NY.
My dream for my next house is to build a small room in my basement that ventilates outside and has a sealing door with a hole room venting system to keep dust down. It'd just be for painting and the rest of the work would be in another part of the house.
