Hi Wim...
Received my " Dash Gauges Decals " today 16/12/13.
They are very clear to read, perfectly in register, which annoyingly cannot be said for some of the big kit manufacturers.
Yours will give that extra bit of nice detail...
Once again many thanks

If I had more budget, yes, that would be the obvious answer.bestbalsakits wrote: Buy 2, easy no?

Re: bestbalsakits releases & ongoing projects
guys,
thx for the positive feedback on the dash gauge decals. I'm happy that they are received well.
Also, there are some new items i'm working on that i want to share.
1. 1/12 P34 Six Wheeler Photo Etch detail sheet
Containing all obvious parts, but also carries front & rear wings & wing support, and radiator etch has finest detail available. Sheets are now @ etchers, i expect to have them ready for sale end of february.
2. Finally, test casting for the 1/12 aston martin project 218 engine have returned from casters.
Waaw & waaw again. So proud! Excellent castings, minimal flash, perfect fit. Yeay.
Pictures are from main parts, dry fit (no glue, no photoshop).
Ok, now for another 8-12 weeks waiting before final parts arrive? I hope not...
3. Currently in development: 1/12 decal sheet to fit protar's Alfa Romeo 179. The sheet will contain all logo's needed to finish the all red car (no cigarette sponsor), the ciggie sponsored car & the car wearing black stripes in stead of ciggie logos.
Sheets are still on drawing table, as i still need to determine 2 logos, but should be finished 1st week of Januar. Ready for sale 8-12 weeks later
4. I received my personal 3D lithographic printer. I tried to draw 3D part for test printing, but had difficulties using the software since it was already few months ago that i worked with it. grrrr. Will be a difficult start to get familiar with it again.
So, to test print, i used the alternator & a V-string disk from my aston martin project. The alternator is printed in both .1 & .025mm resolution. I forgot which is which. Also, the missing part broke off while transporting the parts: it printed perfect (.5mm thickness). The alternator has diameter of approx 11mm. Support structures still need to be removed.

Hurrah! Finally someone is making a decal sheet so that I can do an "all-red" 1979 version of my 1/12 Protar 179. It has been waiting so patiently on the shelf in the box all these years for just such a sheet. Great news.

Nice toy! A question, The motor won't be cheap. So why do the camshafts and timing chains. Many have discussed the same concerning MFH hidden detail as well?
Overall, congrats on your passion to become a bigger player in this hobby. Motors, decals, body parts, etc.
