Will this be in the Aston transkit or will you need to purchase it separately? IT looks very impressive and should look great in the car

Hi,

Aston engine will be offered both by itself and as part of the Aston transkit. After all, the engine also raced @ Nurnburgring, so there is use for it without the Aston body parts. The engine kit will contain both air intake headers (different set up @ Nurnburgring compared to Le Mans') so you can choose which model to build.

Engine is @ casters, so should become available in 8 to 12 weeks.

Hi guys,

got these new decal sheets ready to get printed.

sheet1

sheet2

Both sheets offer various designs of dash gauges from different makes (SMITHS, VDO, VEGLIA), 60's to late 70's era & after: oil gauges (20 different designs), water gauges (12 different designs), rev gauges (15 different designs), speedo meters (6 different designs), fuel gauges (8 different designs), time management gauges (5 different designs), combined gauges (5 different designs), current gauges (5 different designs).

The 1/12 sheet contains 2 decals of each design (like 40 oil gauges in total, 30 rev meters in total etc), which totals over 190 individual decals.
The 1/18 1/20 1/24 sheet contains 1 decal of each design in each scale, so you get like 20 oil gauges in 1/18, 20 in 1/20 and 20 in 1/24. Nearly 300 decals in total!.

Well, enough to last a lifetime...

Decals are @ printers, and should become available in 6-10 weeks.

Hi Wim...

Excellent looking Decals are you accepting pre-orders???

Hey guys,

few things i wanted to share with you...

1. dash gauges are on their way over here. Expect them to arrive in a week or two. Hope the fine detail will still stand on the 1/20 & 1/24. I'm confident, not sure yet.
2. Porsche 1/12 wrangler decal is available, see http://www.bestbalsakits.be/tamiya/tami ... umber=2548
Even if i say so myself, that is a mighty good looking car. And dito decals of course ;-)

3. On design table (drawings are finished, just need to check few dimensions on model and adjust some tech stuff to get sheet print ready): 1/12 lotus 49B gold leaf which will let you build almost all versions of this race car, except the monaco 68 duck tail version (already available from museum collection) and rob walker (maybe later :-)
Available: jan/feb 2014

4. After being in business for 10+ years, it was time for something new... From now on, I'll be offering my own products for wholesale. Decals are already available through Mac's Modelling, and soon will be offered by autographmodels from Germany too. Resin kits to follow soon...
To reflect this change in business model, i i'll start installing a newly designed logo (to replace the 10+ year old previous one) on web site, facebook, sigs etc in the next couple of weeks. At least, I think, I hope.
Here's a preview of the label i'll use to identify my products. Hope you like it...

Check back here to see when dash gauge decals become available. Might be, i'll throw some around for free... or gift them in return for a facebook like. Hey, it's a business after all.

>>Quietly and patiently raises his hand for a sheet of the gauge decals<<

So, is the 49b project decals only? I would *really* like someone to do a correction for the 1/12 tamiya kit. I think that would be a hit. I would certainly buy one.
