MFH 1/12 Lotus 49. Showed up yesterday. Thanks to Tom at Only Race Cars!! I can't wait until this weekend to open it and count the parts. I got the rivet set also but have my doubts if they will be used. It is more likely that I will use a metal set.

Regards,

Joe.

Looking forward to watching your build! Are you going to start it when you get it?

I spent a couple of hours browsing the shelves at Hobbyeasy in Hong Kong last Friday. It is a bit of a modellers paradise with a lot of interesting kits to look at. I came away with an eclectic mix of tools, cars, aircraft and egg-style "cartoon" planes.
Because of the relative scarcity of "interesting" plastic F1 releases, I've started delving back into 1/72 aircraft. Its a rabbit hole that is a bit easy to fall into! Incredible selection, vastly improved quality and reasonable pricing.
Recent purchases
Beemax Lancia Delta S4
Hasegawa Sauber Mercedes C9 "Kouros" (Kiwi driver Mike Thackwell)
Tamiya Ford GT
Tamiya Toyota TS050 LM
Meng 1/35 RR Armoured Car...great looking kit of a vehicle that has always fascinated me
Freedom Model "Compact Series" USAF F16C/D twin pack
GWH 1/72 F15I Ra'am (state of the art kit...just beautiful)
Revell 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon BoB Anniversary scheme
Tamiya 1/72 Bf109G-6...another state of the art gem

All that's left on the list is the Revell LM Ford GT that hasn't come into stock in Hong Kong yet....at least that leaves me something to look for on my next trip!
So the stash isn't shrinking at all.....

cheers

Tania

I just started Buying the W196 SIlver Arrow in 1/8 of Salvat.
It will need a few modifications in order to be more precise (wheel's spokes for example), but it looks beautifull.
