Re: What is your latest model purchase
Those December Ebay coupons sucked me right in! I got the 2 BIG ones via Ebay and finally got that S4 from HLJ. Thinking the S4 may get built first.

MFH 1/12 Lotus 49 and in contrast Border Model 1/35 Panzer IV. Panzer IV has always been a favorite of mine along with Lotus 49. My lotus just posted as shipped and should be arriving Monday or Tuesday.

Re: What is your latest model purchase
Hi all,
A massive thanks goes to Imster (Imraan Malik) as he helped me get in contact with Studio27 for a Minardi kit I have been interested in for some time now.
The Minardi M191 arrived last week and it is a very nice kit. The quality of Studio27's resin casting is much improved. No air bubbles at all, and the cast pieces are almost perfectly symmetrical in all aspects. The white metal is also really nicely cast, as are the slick tyres. A set of four nicely machined aluminium rims also helps.
Having checked the inventory, thankfully nothing was missing. The kit did come with an extra rear wing element, so that gives me more WM parts to experiment with
As with Studio27 products, the decals are the highlight of the kit. All sponsor logos are perfectly printed. At close to A$300 it wasn't a cheap kit, but it's a rare beast and will look good on the shelf next to my other 1:20 kits.
Cheers, Paul
