312T wheel set / the best I have ever seen !!
I just received this aluminum wheel set on ebay for the 312T, 1/12, and had to tell everyone about the exquisite quality and detail in this product ! The aluminum looks great and there are bolts and pins for everything, with perfect holes in place ! There are even corrected size tires which fit the wheels perfectly and look much better than the kit tires.
A really nice set !!

I purchased this wheel set too but either Tamiya or Team Toys has gotten the size wrong. The tires that come with this set look just like the Tamiya ones but when you compare them side by side they are a LOT bigger, almost 1/10 scale?

Looks nice, but not cheap....

Please specify size: width and diameter. Sometimes visual impression is deceptive, and also there were size variations...notime4me wrote:I purchased this wheel set too but either Tamiya or Team Toys has gotten the size wrong.

I already sold them because they were so much larger than the Tamiya tires/wheels (20% larger if I can remember). Maybe Steve could take a side by side picture to show the difference. It could be that Team Toys has the correct size but I thought it would look odd if I displayed my models next to each other and the 312T has much bigger tires than the others.

.... I think 20 percent is a bit of an exaggeration here !

There are some side-by-side pics in the ebay listing. That seems to suggest the kit wheels are undersized and theirs are the correct diameter?
Je ne regrette rien.

Shoot, I know I asked this before and made notes but cannot find them; does anyone have the regulated tire dimensions for 1975 and 1976? Would seem to be the best way to see how these compare as well as the original Tamiya tires? These sure do look good though from the pics....

Without knowing yet which is the actual correct size (if either ?), ...I think the meatier tires will look great on a finished 312T ! ...And wait till you see and hold the wheels in your hand ! ...artistry in scale !!
