All,
A long time ago (in fact very soon after the unveiling of the real car), my dad built a Western Models white metal 1:43 Tyrrell P43.
It's the wrong shade of blue, and although pretty crude it has a lot of sentimental value.
I'd like to build a state-of-the-art model of this car, so what is the best kit to get (if indeed one is available)?
It was the prototype version as shown to the press at Silverstone, with the tall, narrow airbox.
Thanks.

Re: Tyrrell P34 (Prototype) Kit?
I believe at the moment no Kit producer in 1:43 have this version.
But you can look on the Tameo Homepage, look to the Kit TMK 299 and maybe is the Airbox from
Tyrrell 007 Tameo -Silverline Kit SLK 103 correct, I dont know the correct Airboxdesign from this press test in Silverstone.

Re: Tyrrell P34 (Prototype) Kit?
Thanks Mike. The prototype was different from the TMK299 version, particularly the sidepods and nose.
The Tyrrell 007 airbox does look like a good match though.
It's a shame the Western Models version isn't still available - it would make a decent basis for a bit of added detal.
Cheers.
