Tameo Minardi M02 TMK292

Post by R.Wells »

I always hesitate to post a WIP. Invariably, I screw something up during the build to sabotage the completion. How bad can it be on a 43rd scale build.

Very interesting subject, did you give any primer first from the final painting?

The first photo in the original post is the second coat of primer after I had sanded the body, thinned the floor.

The photos below are of the first primer, and first sanding.

Hi Russell,

Looking very good mate. Which clear coat are you going to hit it with?

Coating the tyre decals with a thin mixture of Elmers glue has worked well to seal the decals and flatten the shine on the sidewall. I assume you thin the Elmers glue with water, then simply brush the thinned PVA glue onto the tyres with a regular paintbrush?

Cheers, Paul
