Yes,I used a regular paint brush and just brushed it on.

I know what you mean with the WIP that never gets over the line...I have a few. Looks great Russell and a nice throw back as well. The Mr Hobby will make the colour pop.
Clear is done. I tried something completely different for clear this time. I decanted some Krylon Clear, and shot it through my air brush...I like the result!

I don't speak English well - I'm sorry if it's hard to understand me.
It was better not to varnish these parts.
They should not shine like the whole car.
It is located near the hot exhaust pipes - there is no varnish applied
