Beautiful looking frame work George..
Was it difficult keeping everything square and true as you assembled it?,...or are the mounting points fairly true (ie; square etc.)
Cheers

Hello guys and thank you for your interest.
To solder, these tiny parts are quite difficult, especially when the access isn't great. Maybe with a pro, thin solder machine, it can be done, but I don't have a good one.
Chris, I use a combination of epoxy glue and CA. With epoxy, I make it sturdy, and then with CA, I glue the secondary tubes.CBartholomew4677 wrote:Coming along very nicely!! Love that tube frame chassis; Sorry if I missed it, How did you get it together, epoxy, solder?
Looking forward to seeing more.
Cheers,
Chris

The fitting is generally good, for this kind of kit and frame.Belugawrx wrote:Beautiful looking frame work George..

There are two annoying things. The well known MFH bent parts (in bigger scales seems easier to fix ) but on this occasion with complicated multi-frame parts, it almost impossible to repair 100%.
The second annoying part is the holes which must be made, to make the mounting points. In some parts, there is no hole mark at all and on many occasion they are wrong.
It is not something extremely, but it will be nicer if MFH improves the quality of metal parts (like Tameo kits) and if they give us the main metal parts in separate vacuum cases like some kit manufacturers do for the missiles in airplane kits.

Hope the end of Ferrari license, don't affect the Alfa Romeo kits, in MFH range and will see the TZs and the tipo33 family and in 1/12.turboF1 wrote:Great start! Subscribed.
Just looked. This kit is still available at MFH.

Re: Alfa Romeo TZ2 Zagato Monza 1967 – MFH 1/43
The newest update on this build depends on the front suspension. Unfortunately, the two main parts are extremely bent so there is no possibility to paint and glue it then, with the other components. So, I try to glue them unpainted. This helps me to make the necessary strength and align, to make them fit. The paint was easy, with some masking. So, the chassis looks like this now:
Because I am ill for many days now, I didn't make the wiring for fuel and brake system yet, cause to un-sturdy hands. Hope I'll become well soon and make it.
Thanks for watching.
