Re: GP`s 1:43 bench/ My Tameo Jordan family

Post by gp-models »

Thank you very much!

Here are some of my Tameo builds i did, all my Jordan F1 models i did till now, not much missing, maybe one day i have them all. :)

Starting with Schumi`s Jordan 191, the best looking F1 car ever to me, and Schumi`s one off race for Jordan, we all know what followed. Sorry for crappy pics sometimes, not my favorite job to take pics!

Correction to this car: Baseplate description is wrong, it is the early Jordan 196. The 196 which only run that one race in this sand colour, the team switched to gold cause B&H came in as sponsor very shortly before the season started.

I don't understand...
They got Benson since early 1996. Yes they tried gold, and then switched to moutard color, And yes, for 1997, they went yellow.

I love Jordans due to the name. The original and the animal B&H cars being my favorite. Really nice work on each of these!

Oooops! Your right James, my mistake!
The baseplate description is wrong, the 195 was totaly different, i did the early 96 version, this was the year the car only run in Australia in sand colour, the next races it came in gold. B&H came in super short before season started, the team was not able to change the colour before the first race, for the second the repainted the car in gold. ;)

Re: GP`s 1:43 bench/ Some old school kits

These are some realy old school kits i did, not like the nowadays quality, but worth to be named.

Starting with 2 SRC Lotus 79, the Martini and the Rebaque version. Build these kits many years ago.

Awesome works, those Tameo`s look fantastic, but i like the SRC models as well, how old are they?
The 500 Abarth is funny, wish someone would do a transkit for the 1:12 kit, would be awesome! :D

Thank`s a lot! Yes the 500 Abarth in 1:12 would be funny, not seen such conversion before. :)

About the SRC kits, i realy don`t remember exactly, must be around 20 years back i build them.

I found the Italerie 500 Rally version in 1:12, do you think that this might be a good base to do such race conversion? Ok, some major points do not fit and have to be changed, not realy my cup of tea but it looks like a starting point.
Looking forward to your next update here! :)
