Musee MATRA
Here is a link to my visit to Musee MATRA at Romoratin France last winter 2017.
I only had an hour and a half so some photos are out of focus.
I particularly enjoyed the engine room, and it was challenging to get good shots in the darkened space.
One other note, the light blue 1964 Panhard 24CT is mine - I purchased it in Marseille, and drove it across France, ferry to Southhampton, then to Bristol where it was shipped to the west coast of USA. It was a 'bucket list' ambition of mine, and it was quite an adventure!

I also visited the LeMans Museum, so I can post them later.

Re: Musee MATRA
Very cool. It is amazing how many "small" or rather unknown (to me at last ) museums there are which have
a host of beautiful cars. Some of the Matra's shown at last year's Le Mans museum exhibition might have been
from that very place and I didn't even know it existed.
If you have pictures from the LM museum, please post them as well. I visit it each time I am there for the race
to see what they have got as they cycle exhibits around. I think last year's theme was 1967 F1 (BRM, Lotus, etc.).

Thanks for the pics!
Odd that the Renault Espace F1 van would end up in a Matra museum...

Hi,
Very nice pics!
But I see a flat 12 engine, never seen or heard about that.
Intersting!

Re: Musee MATRA
Big thanks for the photo album, absolutely terrific subjects, and photos.
Some of these beauties would make terrific MFH 1/12 full detail subjects. I've never understood why the early 70's LM Matra's have never been modeled in large scale more often, they're evocative, stunning pieces of racing history.
Would love to see Hiro model the 670-670B series.

Re: Musee MATRA
Great museum and great cars in absolutely spotless condition. I would too love to see the 670 and 670B sportscars in 1:12. I have suggested it, so...
Thanks for the pictures.
