Is it Blender a right software to do a model for 3D printing?
Yes it is.
I prefer sketchup - its for me thinking and drawing in 3d without unusable GUI.

But Moby is already here. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
I want a kit of it :) So I could build it.
I guess in scale 1/12.
If, then stay tuned :wink:

GUI=Graphical User Interface

Blender and other 3d-software are IMHO overloaded with functions in toolbars and menus. You need a lots of tutorials to learn the software.
For me sketchup is easy to use and gives me good results for 3d printing.
The software is not perfect but easy to use with fast and reliable results.

What's more amazing.. that's done in Google Sketchup? Granted, I've hated Blender with a vengeance for the
last hm... 15 years or so, since I've been a 3D Studio guy since the mid / late 90s and I've used Sketchup on
occasion, however, that was years ago and nowadays I feel the tool has gotten a little to complex. It used to
come more naturally to me, even complex shapes. But maybe I'm just lacking in patience these days. Never-
theless great work.
A 908/3... now we're talking. Why not 917/10k?
