I go there often and right now, they have a dedicated Porsche exhibit going on. It’s pretty awesome. They have a 956, 917, 919, 935, GT1, etc.
Hi Sean,

according to this video they also have the 917/30 plus a Gulf blue regular 917 as part of the "The Porsche Effect"
exhibition. If you wouldn't mind, get all of those :). It would be much appreciated. Of course all the other cars
seem to be worth taking pictures of as well, but hey, that'd be several days. Plus the outside of the place looks
awesome (the ex-architect in me rejoices).

And I'll be joining others in keeping an eye on this thread. A K3 :D, awesome!
Cheers,
Roman

Hi Christian. This is really a worthy subject and I will be following along. I've done two of the Martini cars with the SMS superdetail kits and have a rather large pile of leftover parts. If you need anything, let me know. I would be happy to send on anything that you may need that I have.

Many thanks for all your help here.
I think i will do the body parts in 3d printing because there is an Assetto Corse Mod including the Kremer K3 in 1980 version coming in the next weeks.Thats a perfect starting point, also for this version.Main difference from the 1979 to 1980 was the rear wing and some flaps.Possible to make a 1980 to a 1979 version.
My buddy Torsten, designer of the Lancia Beta, will do this job for me.Great!

@Pete: maybe i will come back to your offer when i found out i have missing parts. Thanks!
@Sean:many thanks for that offer too.I would like to know if the car really got two rear windows installed?I read so much of this great trick, but never saw a picture who shows it clearly. That would be great if you can make it for me.
Of course every pic from the eye of a modeler is always helpful.Ever pic from the engine bay, front trunk and the cockpit section is helpful.

Thanks to this great community!

Do you mean 2 rear windows on the K3?

Yes, they made a second one over the original one.
The trick was a better shape to get the air smoother to the rear wing.
The regulation didn't allowed a change to the window.
But it says nothing about a second window over the original one.
Those were the days.

Copy that! I will be able to tell. I have about a 1000 pics from Rennsport 4. I may have other pics. I take pics at races. I am sure I have over 100,000 pics by now. Really miss the 90s CART era.
