Isn't there a Lui version with martini stripes except they are black and fluor pink?

Hi James
I don't know how 'correct' you are going to build it? But if you are taking a longer and closer look on things, you will notice that all the later cars has a combined bodywork of the 1978 longer nose, without the side intakes from the same year coupled to a 1977 backend with the two fins and rear wing.

Re: PORSCHE 936 IDEAS PLEASE?
I like both the Veglia and the "Black Widow" versions best.
I assume this is best on the Tamiya RC body (if this is a 1/12 build), right? A question to those in the know:
Seeing as this is an RC body probably made to fit a universal chassis (for a variety of bodies) - have there
been any "concessions" to that fact (i.e. changed wheelbase, etc.?) or is the body fairly accurate to for a
"serious" build? Just asking, since I've had these 1/12 RC bodies on my watch list for some time now...

JB. I challenge you to convert your model to any one of the versions known as the Joest 936C

Re: PORSCHE 936 IDEAS PLEASE?
Yes, it could....but that's a real chimera.
Take a 908/3 body, ad a 917/10 rear wing and top with a 936 air intake.
Merge with putty
For full detail...scratch build a 6-cyl-turbo instead of the 908 flat 8 engine...

Hi James.JamesB wrote:Hi, crew!
I was browsing my stash to see what remains, what "kitexits", and came thru my Porsches. Apart from seeing you never ave enough 911 and 956/62, I saw I need some ideas for my 936.
Apart from the typical versions (OK for Martini, and dark blue martini, don't fancy the Jules or the ESSEX), is there some idea to make an existent short tail version, preferrably with fresh livery?
Maybe some stopgap between the 908 and the 936, easy to transform?
Come on those Canam and sports diehards!!
as usual thanks in advance
J
ED: is the 908/3 turbo a good option?
I started to build the Porsche 936/1976 black Martini car. I received in this forum a lot of very good materials (thanks for them again!). So there is the link of this discussion:
