Modeler's Lola T89 Formula 3000

Post by alaski48 »

This is my first completion in a while. It's a rare kit from a Japanese manufacturer called Modeler's that is no longer in business, of a Lola T89 Formula 3000 car campaigned in the All-Japan F3000 series in, well, Japan, in 1989. It's as true as I could get gleaning from several sources, as specific references of this car are few.

The car is powered by an normally aspirated 8-cylinder, 16-valve, overhead cam Mugen engine.

I used parts sold at scaleproshop.com like Scale Mototsport carbon fiber decals and harnesses, and Pro Tech braided line and fittings.

Great job! This is a cool subject, definitely not something you see everyday. Nice work.

Thank you! Yes, I tend to like offbeat subjects, and I do like lower formulas a lot. I'd like to do more of these.

Very cool, to see this rarity. The extra details look spot on.
