VETTEL-FERRARI SPLIT!!!!!
Just heard it on the radio.

Re: VETTEL-FERRARI SPLIT!!!!!
If this is the second time running away from an upcoming and rivalling teammate, that would be a sad end to his career…
I'd like to see Daniel besides Charles next year and Hulk back besides Ocon

Not exactly running away. They apparently offered him just one year...

I don't know Vettel personal but from what I could see as a fan I would guess he simply has enough of F1....just my guess !? I don't think we see him racing anymore.

Re: VETTEL-FERRARI SPLIT!!!!!
He's not running away from anything. He wanted a long term deal, Ferrari wasn't willing to give it. Rather then spend the next six months negotiating knowing this, why not just end it and give yourself time to figure out yuor next steps.
https://the-race.com/formula-1/why-vett ... lly-began/ is a great article explaining what brought Vettel into Ferrari, and how it almost immediately fell apart.
I could see him retiring at the end of the year, or even before then depending on how F1 handles the restart. I don't know if he'll have the patience to wait 3 years at a team like McLaren for the supposed budget cap to even out the field, and I doubt Hamilton or Max will let him know their team either. I feel a bit like I did in 06 when Montoya quit, but with how F1's been going my interest is a lot lower already.

Re: VETTEL-FERRARI SPLIT!!!!!
This is the weird, sad thing about F1... on any given Sunday there are, at most, 6 drivers not wasting their time in search of a win or World Championship... I don't see Seb getting one of the other 4 drives. Maybe Red Bull... I just do not see him at Mercedes Benz. Then what??? If he goes to McLaren and does not win a race in 2021, then he is a faded memory to F1. Is any other team really sniffing at even a lucky race win??

I hope we get a Ricciardo/Vettel swap. That'd be fun to watch for both.

I think he'll walk. There don't appear to be any real opportunities that would be of enough interest to him. He already seems tired of it all, not the frame of mind to take to a new team.
Carlos Sainz to put on the red overalls and Danny Ric will take his seat at Mclaren.
