Well, with a few comments.

1. I am on the fence about Nelson 'Not Trying' at Lotus. True, the 100T and the 101 were horrible. Jackie Stewart tested the 100T and slammed the car for being lousy and driver unfriendly. Even though with the same Honda Turbo Engine with Mclaren, the big difference was that Mclaren had not only an all-star team of drivers, but designers and everyone in between. They had Gordon Murray, Steve Nichols, Jo Ramirez and host of other superstars just like the Schumi era in Ferrari. The cars were no good and Nelson getting a couple of third was the best he could do.

2. Fernando doing cycling at Tour de France. You never know, cycling is his passion and he was considering sponsoring a full cycling team because it is huge in Spain.

As to Fernando going to IndyCar for a new challenge. Hey, why not? He did well at Indy so why couldn't he compete there? There were a lot of ex-F1 drivers doing well across the Atlantic. All he needed is an Indy 500 to be the Second Driver ever to complete the 'Triple Crown'. Best of luck to him if that's what he wanted.

Fernando could easily won a few more titles. Who knew if the Stepneygate and that 2007 in-fighting didn't happened and he stayed with Mclaren Mercedes? Also he was at the wrong place at the wrong time, with the wrong team far too often.

He is the most talented driver. But like anything else. If you don't have the best car, you will always be the bridesmaid.

Let's hope he does what Prost did in 1992; he didn't like the lay of the land and took a sabbatical year, only to come back and win the championship in '93.

Freddy is a great driver but he has done a terrible job of choosing teams. He's been in the wrong place at the wrong time for quite a while now.

He should have stayed at Ferrari; he may have won the championship last year if he had, and he'd be the favorite to win this year...maybe next year too.

Yes, this opens a seat at McLaren, but that's not really a seat worth having anymore. It may stay that way for quite some time. Ask the folks at Williams what I'm talking about.
