I think they did a good job in “hiding” the halo. It’s painted black and the way it attaches it seems a bit lower than I thought it would be. Necessary evil I guess.

At the end of the reveal video they pop up a cartoon rabbit. Haas means rabbit, right?

That's a strong candidate for a conversion of the SF70H kit. The layout of the car is very based in last year's Ferrari.

Well if FCA has it's way it will be a rebadged Ferrari next year with Maserati logos on it.

It's nice.
And yes, the HAlO is less visible, because in black, it melts with background. But once the driver helmet is in, it'll stand out as a bat on a cream pie...

Generally, I follow the rule that life is too short to be overly negative, but for "professional' photography this is the worst I have ever seen. Unless Haas, specified a short lens from too far a distance this person must have thought he was shooting landscapes. There is just no detail in the photos. I think it is the overly dark background.

I like the livery.

Joe.

The halo is going to be as visible as the stupid thumb sticking out of the nose when the cars are out in the real world.

It's not photography, it's a 3D rendering. Maybe is so dark because the rendering artist choose to not give too much clues at the first glance of the fact that it's 3D.
