Re: Box Stock F310B updated 2/10, more carbon fiber

Finally after much sanding and filling the monocoque is painted. Couple coats of flat white and so far one coat of bright red. Putting on a second coat this morning and then let it sit ready for decaling. Gotta get the correct M@rlb0r0$ for it as the Tabu set I do have is wrong and don't have all th...

Re: Box Stock F310B updated 2/8

More Carbon Fiber decal finished. I still need to do the bottom of the 2 upper airfoils on the front wing. Should have that done tomorrow or the next day. After this I will do up the spill plates for the front wing and then it's ready for Urethane clear. This carbon fiber work is tedious lol. I had ...

Re: Box Stock F310B

Started working on the Carbon Fiber. The sheets I bought are Studio 27 stuff. Work pretty good. Very thin and easy to apply. Will accept Mico Sol also which is a good thing. Got a ton more to go lol. Back to it I am. There is a seam that didn't come out quite right however I put it where it will not...

Re: Box Stock F310B

Thanks guys. I received my carbon fiber decals from Mark at M&S Hobbies yesterday so I can start doing all the carbon fiber work on it. Mostly up to now just been sanding on the monocoque trying to get it in flawless shape before paint.

Box Stock F310B updated 3/17, rear suspension.........

Just something I am throwing together. No extra detail other than paint and decals. Figure I have enough models to build that I don't need to super detail them. Got a bit over zealous in the gluing/filling of the body panels so I have to re scribe the panel over the seat. I got one side done already...

Re: Small internal thread cutting???

I do not know if they make internal threading tooling that small, you may have to see if you can find a tap and gently tap your part. Since it it so small and obviously holding nothing major except maybe a model together you can make the i.d. a bit bigger which would make it easier to tap. You could...
