Don't get me wrong; it's good info to have, and a good reminder to be aware and careful. But it seems like most of the risk can be mediated by decent hygiene - wash your hands after handling lead, and wear gloves for the operations like sanding and polishing that leave particularly dirty digits. I ...

After finishing the Cooper, which is 80-85% completed, I'm going up a scale to 1/12 for the Italeri Fiat 806 gp car. The kit is horrendously incorrect in almost every aspect apart from the engine and gearbox, so another full-on scratch project is on-the-cards...can't wait to get stuck-in! :P Happy N...
