Re: Screwed in a tiny way
I don't know if you have one where you are at but Lowes Home Improvement sells a screw driver set that is miniature with interchangeable, and magnetic. Works excellent for this. Might be able to locate it at any hardware/home improvement store that sells tools. Paul Edit: Found mine. It is made by T...

That is some impressive work! Will be sad to cover it with paint. Have you thought about leaving it bare brass with a clear coat over it to keep the tarnish to a minimum?

Re: Mixing Small Amounts of Paint
Micro mark sells small mixing bottles for fairly reasonable price. You can also find airbrush bottles and lids for pasche airbrushes at Hobby Lobby which work well for somewhat larger jobs. I usually do this and just cap it. I use automotive paints a lot in my modeling so I have to be careful about ...

Re: FW14B - With Detail
How much difference is there from the RS3 vs the RS4? I have had a hard time trying to find the difference. I do know the injection is different. I am also wanting to do the RS4. I did consider building another engine up as an RS3 to display with my model once completed.

Re: Clear coat cracks
I think it depends on the clear your using. I've got over cracked Duplicolor with 2 part catalized clear and hidden the cracks completely. So it can be done, however to use the same clear your going to have to sand most of the cracked clear out I think then respray.

anyone heard from Thunder Valley?
I know the history behind this as I am part of said history, so I don't need the lesson. I am curious if anyone has heard from him at all. I have emailed him several times within the last 8 months with NO responses to my emails. Hoping someone has gotten in touch with him. Or has EVERYONE written hi...

Re: Williams Fw14B
Well, didn't have the update I was hoping for. I did manage to solder the exhaust pipes together along with the return spouts to the radiators. There is one each that are already polished after clean up and I removed the cast in clamps on the rad spout to accept the blue tubing supplied by TVF1 (the...
