Re: To heck with MFH. THIS is the Alfa kit *I* want!

Looks like fun. But I don't think the Danish authorities would too... We have some very strict ruling in DK. In reality anything not as delivered from a car factory will not get number plates on it. Period. Neighbour country Sweden has a lot less strict ruling afaik. Anyway getting anything out of U...

Re: MP4/2C Portugal '86

A very old Studio 27 kit had fluo yellow/green decals. Something like the same colour used on the Brawn decades later.
I will paint mine fluo yellow when I get around to making that kit in the stash - around 2032... :-)

Re: Hello Germans, how do you watch F1 now ?

Hi F1TV Pro is not that expensive in my eyes and you can watch a lot of the old races from the really old days with Hunt and Walker as commentators. After a shaky start with bad or choppy service it really has taken off. And you can watch the supporting races as as well as watching the entire race i...

Red Bull RB5 1:20

Hi It doesn't happen too often, but occasionally I finish a model! ;-) This is the Ejan 1:20 2009 Red Bull RB5. Looks similar to the Tamiya kit - but that is a RB6 from 2020. The Red Bull blue is from Zero and the yellow has been painted with a mix made from Finisher paints. It is just slightly chro...

Re: December 2020 1/12 news

This is an old Alfa logo with the snake vomiting a child (or eating?) So it indicates probably it is something old(ish) like the pictured 1935 racer? Re: MFH 1/12 tyres

Hi

I have a couple of the MFH sets P-1158. They are a perfect replacement in rubber for the original Tamiya tyres. They come with Goodyear Eagle preprinted. Excellent.

Re: 1/24 MB CLK DTM 2001 24h service

Hi

Judging from pictures it is a metallic shade - not unlike Red Bull purplish blue I'd say'. Maybe something like TS-53?

Re: Gasly First Victory - Drive to Survive

On that note - note how quickly Esteban Ocon has become unnoticable. The former very hot property is suddenly just another driver completely outmatched by Danny Ric.

It will be interesting to follow 'drive to survive - season 3 - to see what really was happening.

Hi

Thanks for the input. The kit is... rough... to say the least. So it will require a lot of work.

Lola T-333 Can Am car 1978'ish references

Hi I have recently unearthed a probably rare Formula Canada resin kit in 1:24 of the Alan Jones car. You know the red/white/blue First National sponsored car of the later Can-Am series based mostly on fendered F5000 cars. Actually the subject of a Tamiya RC car none the less and a rather nice lookin...
