Re: MFH 1/12 for August.

Hm, based on the colours and the grooves I had though Honda RA300, but those rears only have 7 groups and it's showing 8 here. With the 512S I'm counting 9 grooves. The RA273 has 8 grooves. But that has been done by Tamiya aeons ago, so maybe not. MFH already released the RA300 a year ago now! Did ...

Re: Carbon Fiber decal question

Thank you all for your responses, but there does seem to be a little confusion as I guess I wasn’t clear in my question. I said “all carbon fiber”. I’m building the Silverstone test 911 where the entire car was bare CF. So, when I talk about glueing the wings together, every piece will be decaled i...

Apples to Oranges!! I suspect that there will be no comparison. You can not really expect to compare a 40+ year old kit to something that has just been released can you??

Re: Tamiya Big Scale Series 26 McLaren MP4/6

It's pristine and the tires are still good. How do you know that the tires are still good? That kit was released with a blisterpack which had the tire selled inside of it. Unless you have taken the tires out of the blisterpack there is no way of telling if the tires are still good. I had tires sell...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2023

"They sometimes include PE on older kits when re-releasing them." Yes, but really poor PE, not Tamiya worthy imo. Tamiya re-issues differ in 'add-ons' but only time i know they actually changed/corrected a sprue was M23 engine one. Lately they add PE as said, and from time to time they ad...

Re: Rosberg M@r!b*r* lights version Estoril 1986 - new evidence in the case!

I see Flemming's post as not being conclusive at all but rather stirring the pot so to speak as if he is the expert. Nigel Roebuck calls the color "sickly greeny-yellow"! nowhere does he refer to it as being "Fluo" yellow but in Flemming's mind that is what "he" has equ...
