Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2024

1/12 Stratos? Well bugger me. That will go into the collection. I've been lusting after the 1/12 Doyusha for a long time.. if this one is comparable or possible the same mould from back then, I don't care, me wants!

Re: 1/12 MFH March 2024

Interesting point. I should think that maybe they are focussing their interests towards other parts of the business and manufacture smaller runs than they used to? That said, I keep reading about reissues in limited numbers of previous kits. I just remember buying a number of big 917s (what else, ri...

Re: is this the end?

Hello, I found this funny drawing :D The aero is too much in my opinion in every racing categories, what's about the reduction of the cost ???? and may be safety problem for the moto categories in case of crash with several riders  Cheers Franck Wohooo, tripes? Count me in for a ride on that...

Re: Soldering PE to white metal

My honest opinion regarding trying to solder PE-steel to white metal is simple: don't! Use either some form of superglue or something like loctite or similar. Why? white metal is a very soft material - also stupidly heavy considering it's lacking strength. So heating it up weakens it and as for the ...

Re: Meng McLaren MP4/4 in 1/24th scale

Well , I thought the same with other brands on other subjects, for example Meng doing a Fokker DR.I, admittedly drawn up by the masters of Wingnut Wings. Their kit has had some small issues, but overall it is a brilliant kit. I bought 3 of them despite already having a fair amount of Roden DR.I / F....

Re: 1/12 MFH February 2024

I don't think so. That T2 is the wrong period for those tracks and as for driver.. Also no. After just checking the MFH page, I don't see that pic for the Feb'24 riddle.

Re: 1/12 MFH February 2024

You guys see anything in that red pic? To me it is just a different colour version of the original green one, so if you see 4 tracks there, kudos. I see nothing :S Damn, just checked it on my main screen, there are faint grey lines in it. Top left:? I just know that I know that circuit. Initial thou...

Re: 1/12 MFH February 2024

I have looked at several locations of British manufacturers (Lotus, Jaguar, BRM) and also some tracks up there and couldn't match it. On Facebook some people swoon over the idea of it being a C- or D-type Jaguar. As much as I would love that, I don't see it on the map. But what do I know. Time of an...

"resist you must not, assimilated you will be."
Better? ;).
I always thought the question of Star Wars vs. Star Trek was akin to religion, my god is better than your(s) or something. Apparently option e) "all of the above" when picking a deity is possible :O, too. :D
