Re: Ferrari F1 87 (1987) Fujimi 1:20

Very nice clan build. I haven't ever built a Fujimi kit and not really considered it honestly. May just have to reconsider. Enjoyed seeing your work! Thanks! So far the Fujimi kits I have put my hands on were very nice, McLaren MP4/5 and this Ferrari were awesome to build. The McLaren MP4/6 from Fu...

Re: Hachette F1 1/24th scale Championship models

Back from my recent Italy trip....no luck with any. I was in Positano, Sorrento and Naples. None of the newsstands I checked carried them unfortunately. I guess I'll have to look online. My thought is that I would have had success in cities like Rome, Milan or Florence. I had a tough time even find...

Re: Ferrari F1 87 (1987) Fujimi 1:20

Done a really nice job here. Well done. The digital decal looks sharp, like it. Will the wheels go any tighter to the brake shroud, gap looks a bit too big? Thanks Davey! On the last picture the wheels were not inserted all the way through, you're right the gap is big if compared to the first few p...

Re: Ferrari F1 87 (1987) Fujimi 1:20

It is a very nicely done F1 87. Your treatment to the turbo intake is clever. Your printed 'Digital' decal is really nice. May I ask what printer did you use to print it? Thanks CK! I used the office Canon C2225 laser printer and a rather cheap A4 white decal sheet (dirt cheap), I had to pri...

Re: Ferrari F1 87 (1987) Fujimi 1:20

Nice work! I have a question, Did you cut the rear cowl? or it is an extra turbo charge air intake? I think from the original kit is not possible to keep the turbo chargers intakes in the right place, when you remove the rear cowl, the turbos come together. How did you do that? It seems a nice idea...

Ferrari F1 87 (1987) Fujimi 1:20

Finally completed this one, started in 2019 in China but left unfinished as I got stuck in Italy and couldn't go back to China because of covid. Fujimi kit was great to work with, I added a FMD PE sheet which was nice. Made the seat using sifted flour for suede look and TS-8 and TS-13 rattle can for...

Andrea Moda documentary at Venice Film Festival

Probably some of you might have already heard about the unthinkable project of 3 Italian blokes having just completed a documentary (docufilm they call it) about Andrea Moda and what's more is that it will projected for the very first time on 1st September at Excelsior Hotel in Venice for the Venice...

Re: Meng vs. Italeri

I have received my kit, it's been on sale since July 2nd already over here and I knew even before checking online that the price was going to be a lot cheaper than outside China. It's always been like that even with Tamiya or Fujimi kits despite being imported from Japan, so this one was going to be...

Re: Meng vs. Italeri

Being in China I am buying the Meng McLaren MP4/4 soon, and will send pictures if anybody's interested. For someone like me who isn't a maniac about super detailing the mechanical parts of a kit but more into the overall look and shape of those 80's cars, it's a perfect choice, especially price-wise...

Re: Tamiya Lotus 107 & Studio 27 decals

Wonderful build Davey. Pulling off such a livery by masking and spray is a monstrous job. Also nice choice to represent the Australian GP version, I hadn't noticed before the extra yellow bit on the nosecone.
