It is so nice to hear that a driver of such stature is a nice guy. After Gilles, Prost was my favorite. Did you happen to ask him what it felt like to lose a championship by a half freaking point? That killed me! But the '86 finale made up for it!

Thanks! I wasn't even sure if you could use scissors! As it was, I tried a couple of different blades on my knife and some smaller scissors, but it looked horrific! The plastic one in it's place - to me - gives it a more glassy look. The way that vac looked, it looked like a cheap piece of plastic! ...

vac form wind screens

Can anyone clue me in on how to "cut out" a vacuum formed wind screen? I just had my first experience on a Studio 27 Renault RE 40 and it didn't go well - I pirated the plastic screen from a Tamiya RE 30b that thankfully fits. But I have a BT 46B and a 956B that come with those nasty thing...

Tamiya decals tend to bleed

Tamiyas decals have a nasty tendency to be too thin where white is concerned. Studio 27's are far superior. That looks SWEET! I thought I might share an experience I had with that kit using the stock chrome. I built mine several years ago and even with using Microsol this happened over time. Maybe I did something wrong? Suggestions for a future attempt at this kit?
