Re: Which is more likely to happen at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix?

Oh trust me, I know all too well what a pain in the ass street races are for the locals. I used to go Motown for F1 when it was downtown, my in-laws are from Detroit, they're more than happy to describe what a pain that was.

Doesn’t stop them from having support races at Monaco.

Re: Which is more likely to happen at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix?

What boggles my mind is that as far as I can tell there were no support races whatsoever, not so much as a lawn tractor race. If you go to the European GP's there's all sorts of support series on the bill with F1. There's usually F2, F3, Formula Renault, Carrera Cup, etc. Even here at a Indycar or I...

Agreed, this could & should be a total dumpster fire. This is the F1 race for the casual fan who knows nothing about GP racing and it’s history, much of the DTS, F1 come lately crowd falls into that description. Max has already made his thoughts clear about how he feels about this race weekend.

Re: All the same red?

Agreed, the M@r!b*r* Mclaren, & Penske fluorescent orange was the same, incredibly vivid, especially on a overcast or rainy day.
Similar vibe to the old STP day-glo red. In a thick fog you could still see them a mile away. Which of course was the point!

The 2023 Indy 500 winning Shell liveried car of Josef Newgarden will be a popular build. The Mrs & I were at the 500 this year and it looked stunning in person.

Very nice work! The first Indianapolis 500 winner is always an iconic subject, a revolutionary car in many ways.

Re: Jackie Stewart Documentary

Watched it, most of it is well known, but his his admitting that he couldn’t read or write is new, and is a stunning revelation. Well done Sir JYS for the bravery to put this out. It’s hard to believe that Oct 6th will mark fifty years since Francois tragic death at the Glen. I have always considere...

Re: Suzuki RGV500 1993 World Champion

Those of us who watched Wayne, and Kevin’s epic battles in the US Superbike championship, especially in 1987, knew how hard those two raced each other. Hard but totally clean & fair. Huge mutual admiration & respect between them that continues to this day.
