Re: Hey I entered something at a contest!!

The lighting seems good, but I find the solution with the scratched plexi panels leaves room for improvement. Was the audience that rowdy? :-) Wh...

Re: Ferrari F2002 Revell 1/12

Nice job!

The resin wheels may have come from Brian Fawcett who did the internal correction kit as well.
Years ago there were also resin wheels/rims available from a company named Antares.

But lot of decals?? P..... 9R3 LMP 2000 ;)
It's indeed the never raced Porsche LMP2000 in 1:24.
Since the original car is unpainted carbon fiber with only a few sponsor decals on top there'll be a lot of decaling necessary.

Porsche LMP2000

It's been quite a while since I posted a build report but here goes. https://i.postimg.cc/brFXDCCj/01-sketch.jpg After finally getting my own 3D printer last year and playing with it doing detail parts I decided to try and do a complete project from scratch. Re: Recommended heat gun/hair dryer for decals?

I don't use a blow dryer at all. It may blow the decals away as you describe and it tends to evaporate the softener before it can work on the decal.
Instead I use a halogen desk lamp for heat after applying the softener.
