Re: Bugatti Type 35 1/12
Was the engine block machined from aluminum billet?
If so perhaps prime it and paint with a metalizer paint like those used for aircraft?

Re: Model Factory Hiro - fit quality?
I feel the criticisms against Hiro kits are a bit harsh. If some of his only reference materials are pictures then some errors could be forgiven. Keep in mind I read somewhere of an interview with the maestro himself that Ferrari gave him access to engineering drawings and actual CAD files. So many ...

Re: Model Factory Hiro - fit quality?
MFH kits are great kits but if you have limited time like I do, due to family and or work commitments it can take years to finish a 1/12 with all that detail. I have a wip on this sight that has stalled for a while because progress is glacial. Instead I’ve finished easier plastic and 1:43 Tameo Kits...

Camber would be forbidden, I investigated because I wanted to make my career engineering garduation project on that. I went as far as invstigating hydraulical a...

Re: Tameo News
I like Tameo. I built their 1/64 MP4/4 and it went together very well.
Have been selling off my big kits and building MFH 1/43 instead. Excited to check out some Tameo 1/43’s

Re: 1/8 scale Williams FW14B - Bespoke Commission Build
Very good save and you made your customer happy. Sounds like a lot of money but CAD work like this takes a lot of time especially if you don’t have blueprints to go by. I’m assuming the Tamiya kit was the reference but he still has to measure it accurately since as you scale up dimension errors mult...
