Re: SAUBER C30 - FUJIMI - 1/20
excellent news and it's not red. don don@macsmodeling.com macsmodeling.com LOL My thoughts exactly on the Sauber C30. When I heard that Auto Modeling magazine (Japan) is planning for special issue on year 2000 to 2010 cars, for later this year, I wondered, "Hmm.., what is there in plastic? A r...

What I nice job, Jacques! I love the aerodynamic balance, coloring, and layout of this car. And you've added some very nice detail. Good save in the "flying" cowl break, too!

Good work, Rossi! A drivers figure gives you a good sense of scale, too.

Re: Clear coat
Perhaps the most used clear coat, in a can, used here in Japan, is Mr Hobby (a GSI Creos brand) Super Clear. It's urethane, and you have to do a few mist coats first, so you don't ruin your decals. But the final thick coat is very tough after it's dried for a few days. Don't know if you can find it ...

Re: WIP: Lotus 97T Belgium GP De Angelis
It looks great to me! I have 'dusting' issues on 2k clear after using cyanocrylate glue. Is there a way to remove it? I've been able to buff out CA/super/krazy glue 'dusting' with Tamiya polishing compounds. (Use compound on the end of a cotton bud/swab/Q-tip for tight places.) The 'dusting' doesn'...

Re: Any new releases coming IN PLASTIC?
Here in Japan, diecast maker Ebbro announced at the 51st All Japan Hobby Show that they'll be releasing their first plastic kit, the Lotus 72C in 1/20, next March. An article in the January 2012 issue of Model Graphix magazine (mags are always dated at least a month in advance here - must be marketi...

Re: Fujimi 126 C2 Long Beach
Nice build, Rossi. The Fujimi Ferrari 126 Long Beach is gonna be my next project. So thanks for letting us know how it should look when done. And yeah, I know what you mean about Fujimi cowls not battening down. I had to invent some hooks and catches to keep my Fujimi Ferrari F1 87/88C cowl down and...
